Definition
A type of VVPAT in which ballots of different voters are maintained on separate sheets of paper. There are two subdivisions of such system s. In some, such as the Avante system, the paper is fed from a CONTINUOUS ROLL, but when the voter has viewed the ballot it is cut by a knife so as to fall unattached into a secure bin. In other systems, such as AccuPoll, the ballot is printed by on letter-size paper and is VOTER-HANDLED. While cut-sheet systems obscure the order in which the ballots are cast, contributi ng to voter privacy, they do not maintain the ballot integrity achieved by continuous roll systems.
