Definition
The “body charged by law with the duty of canvassing absentee ballots, of ruling on the validity of questioned or challenged ballots, of the verifying all unofficial returns as listed in the auditor's abstract of votes, and the produci ng of the official county canvass report; it shall be composed of the county auditor, prosecuting attorney, and chairman of the board of the county legislative authority, or their designa ted representatives.” Wash. Admin. Code §434- 261-010(3). Also used in Florida, Kansas and Wyoming.
