Definition
1. A CHALLENGED BALLOT. 2. A “ballot whose validity has been questioned during the recount process.” Me. Rev. Stat. §21-A-1(12). The problems with a disputed ballot must be resolved before the ballot can be counted. See also Texas Elec. Code §213.0111.
