Definition

Missions to preserve the ability to utilize one’s own network capabilities and protect data, computers, cyberspace-enabled devices, and other designated systems by defeating ongoing or imminent malicious cyberspace activity. Also called DCO. A type of cyber action designed to prevent users from accessing a network-connected service by sending legitimate requests from one source to overload a network’s resources.
