Remote Site

Primary definition

A location other than a jurisdiction's facility at which votes are accumulated CENTRAL COUNT and tabulated. Remote sites are common in large jurisdictions such as cities where such concerns as traffic and parking capacity make it impractical for large numbers of vehicles to converge on one building on election night.
