Definition

A body that actually performs a RECOUNT. “Before beginning a recount, each RECOUNT SUPERVISOR shall appoint a recount committee co mposed of as many members as the supervisor determines are necessary for a speedy recount.” Texas Elec. Code §213.002(a). Likewise in Vermont. Vermont Stat. §2602a.
