Definition

A device “with which votes are indicated for candi dates or for or against questions.” Georgia Code Ann. §21-2-310(6). Likewise, La. R. S. §18:1351(11). The “pointer or other device upon which are registered the votes for candidates or on questions submitted to voters.” 54 Mass. Gen’l Laws §33A.
