Uniform Voting System

Primary definition

A voting system adopted in every jurisdiction in a state. Uniform systems exist in Alaska, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Oklahoma and Rhode Island. See, e.g., Md. Elec. Code §9-101: "The voting system selected and certified for voting in polling places and the voting system selected and certified for absentee voting shall be used in all counties." will HAVA probably result in an increase in the number of states with uniform systems.
